MS Teams Desktop App (New) Installation Instructions

Please follow the steps below for installing the New MS Teams Desktop App and granting the permissions to screen share

Install Instructions:

1. Open Kandji Self-Service (screenshot 1)

2. In the Kandji Self-Service window, scroll down for Teams and click on install

3. Once Teams is installed - please open it - there is no need to sign into it. We need it open to grant the app permissions for screen sharing

4. Open Settings, head to Privacy and Security and click on Screen & System Audio Recording

5. Next to Teams, please click the switch to On and then click on Quit & Reopen

MS Teams is now installed and has screen sharing permissions set. If you need to join an MS Teams meeting, please select the option to open the meeting in the Teams Desktop App.
