How to Set Up your iPhone for the First Time

This guide details what steps you need to take to set up your new Company-issued iPhone

Setup Duration: 10mins for the steps below

You will need:

The IT Configurator iPhone
The Apple credentials to enrol your new iPhone to IT's management platform (shared by IT via DashLane)
A Wi-Fi connection
IT available to receive the OTP code

Steps:

Part 1 - On the IT Configurator iPhone:

Connect to Wi-Fi
Open the purple Configurator app
Keep this app open with the phone physically next to your new iPhone

Part 2 - On your new iPhone:

Switch it On
Follow the Welcome steps and stop at the Connect to Wi-Fi screen - don't connect to Wi-Fi at this point!
The display should automatically change to show a large, blue spinning globe (this means that your new iPhone has detected the IT Configurator iPhone)

Part 3 - On the IT Configurator iPhone:

Scan the large, blue spinning globe using the IT Configurator iPhone
Log in using the Apple credentials IT shared with you via Dashlane
Allow the texted OTP to be sent - IT can Zoom DM the code
Enter the OTP and leave the iPhones to connect with each other

Give your new iPhone a few mins and it should be all done! There will be an option to Erase iPhone - please click this and let me know when its complete. There is 1 more setting I have to do on my side before you finally set up your phone
